Brussels: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf organizations established in European countries held protests demanding the immediate release of all party leaders including Imran Khan and provision of justice to political activists. According to media reports, the protesters have demanded that European governments, people and human rights organizations take notice of the political situation in Pakistan and play their role in upholding human rights, the constitution and the law. The protesters said that Pakistani embassies in European countries should convey the voice of Pakistanis living abroad to the Pakistani authorities, judiciary and relevant institutions. We are forced to protest in front of the embassies due to the closure of the doors of justice in Pakistan.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) French officials, women, children, workers and other leaders protested for several hours outside the Pakistani embassy in the French capital, Paris. The protesters raised slogans in favor of Imran Khan and the PTI, including providing justice, stopping oppression, giving political opponents the right to live, and upholding the constitution and law. They demanded that European governments and human rights organizations review the situation of political activists and leaders in Pakistan and play a role in upholding human rights and democratic principles. A letter has been sent by the Provincial Assembly Secretariat to the IG Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, in which complete details of all incidents related to members of the assembly, ministers, advisors, special assistants and parliamentary secretaries have been sought during the last two weeks. 

      The letter has been directed to provide records related to the arrest, detention of the relevant persons and raids, attacks and searches at their residences. Along with the relevant reports and FIRs registered in the police stations, the record of the persons who informed the police about the incidents has also been sought. The letter said that the information has been sought under Articles 66, 67 and 127 of the Constitution of Pakistan, while the rules of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Reference is also made to the Rules of Procedure, 2025 and the Provincial Assembly Powers, Privileges and Incentives Act, 2026.

         If the situation reaches a dead end, then dissolving the assembly can be considered with the permission of the parliamentary party, to which Sohail Afridi said that if the parliamentary party gives permission, he is ready to dissolve the assembly. 

         Party insiders say that in the meeting of the two leaders, discussions were held on taking the alternate Chief Minister and the party leadership into confidence, while Ali Amin Gandapur told Sohail Afridi that the provincial assembly can be dissolved with the consultation and permission of the parliamentary party. 

      In addition, in the meeting of the two leaders, there was also discussion about not consulting PTI founder Imran Khan on the issue of dissolving the assembly, while the meeting with Imran Khan in jail was also discussed, which took place in the presence of his sisters and other party leaders.
